    Salary: HK$18,850 - HK$20,940 per month depending on qualification and experience

    (The salary may be subject to adjustment in accordance with non-civil service contract (NCSC) staff annual pay adjustment in 2015.)

    Entry Requirements:

    The candidate should have -

    (a) A bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;

    (b) A pass result in the Aptitude Test in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE);

    (c) Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the CRE, or equivalent; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English;

    (d) At least one year's post-qualification office administrative experience, preferably in government departments and be able to handle work independently;

    (e) Good knowledge of Chinese and English word processing plus computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail; and

    (f) Preference may be given to candidates who possess project management experience.

    Duties:

    The Executive Assistant will be deployed on duties relating to one or a combination of the following:

    (a) To assist in handling complaints/enquires and comply monthly summary ;

    (b) To prepare routine information papers and assist in meeting logistics;

    (c) To provide administrative support to the office including compiling statistical returns, maintaining databases/recording or filing systems, handling payments and procurement of equipments/services;

    (d) To assist in organising and coordinating publicity events and related activities when required; and

    (e) To handle other duties as assigned by senior officers.

    Terms of Appointment:

    Successful candidates will be appointed on two-year non-civil service contract (NCSC) terms. Further renewal of contract will be subject to the candidate's performance and service needs.

    Fringe Benefits:

    (a) Gratuity may be granted if the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, may add up to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period; and

    (b) Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave and sickness allowance, where appropriate will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.

    Other Relevant Information:

    Successful candidates may be required to work irregular hours or overtime which will be compensated by time-off-in-lieu.

    General Notes:
