Arrangement of written examination for Entertainment Standards Control Officer (Civil Service Vacancy)

The written examination for Entertainment Standards Control Officer (Civil Service Vacancy) will be held on the morning of 2 June 2019 (Sunday). Candidates who are selected for the written examination will normally receive an invitation by e-mail about two weeks before the scheduled date of the examination. Applicants who are not invited for the written examination may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.

Important Point

The written examination will only be held on the scheduled date and time, and at the specified venue unless the weather condition does not allow (details at next paragraph). Invited applicants must take the written examination at the time and place specified in the email.

Adverse Weather Arrangements

As a general rule, the written examination will be held as scheduled when No. 3 Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal or lower, and / or the "Amber" or "Red" Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued.

The examination venue will be postponed when Pre-No.8 Special Announcement / No. 8 or higher Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal, and / or “Black” Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued or in force at 6 a.m. for examination scheduled to commerce at 9 a.m. and 9 a.m. for examination scheduled to commence at 11:30 a.m.
