OFCA's Participation in 5G Future Hall Opening Ceremony
Mr Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications, officiated at the opening ceremony of the 5G Future Hall organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) on 28 April 2021.
HKPC aims to promote 5G applications among different industry sectors through the launch of the 5G Future Hall, letting the industrial and commercial sectors, as well as the general public have a better understanding of the potentials of 5G in fostering economic growth as well as bringing various benefits and possibilities to our daily lives.
The grantees of OFCA's "Subsidy Scheme for Encouraging Early Deployment of 5G", who come from different sectors, including construction, medical and robotics, also joined the exhibition held at the 5G Future Hall. Apart from showcasing their subsided projects, they also shared their experience in 5G applications with the visitors.
