Bilateral Meeting between OFCA and Guangdong Communications Administration
OFCA and the Guangdong Communications Administration (GDCA) held an online bilateral meeting on 20 September 2022. The two delegations, led respectively by Mr Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications, and Mr Cai Li-zhi, Director-General of GDCA, shared the latest developments in the telecommunications markets and progress of 5G developments. Exchanges were also made on other topics, such as 5G applications, emergency alert system, regulatory measures against fraudulent calls, and the lowering of telecommunications service charges between Guangdong and Hong Kong etc.
