Bilateral Meeting between OFCA and Guangdong Communications Administration
OFCA and the Guangdong Communications Administration (GDCA) held a bilateral meeting in Hong Kong on 7 May 2025. The two delegations, led respectively by Mr Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications, and Mr Cai Li-zhi, Director-General of GDCA, shared the latest regulatory measures and discussed issues of common interests, including promoting the development of low-altitude economy, strengthening real-name registration regulation, combating fraudulent base station, implementing measures against telecommunications scam and improving indoor coverage of mobile services. In addition, the GDCA delegation also attended the “6G Global Summit” hosted by the Communications Authority during 8-9 May 2025.
