OFCA received the Gold Award of Privacy-Friendly Awards 2025 (the Award) for its commitment and efforts in the protection of personal data privacy.
Assistant Director (Support), Mr Kingsley Yeung attended the Privacy-Friendly Awards 2025 Presentation Ceremony organised by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data on 10 July 2025 in receiving the Award for OFCA.
The theme of the "Privacy-Friendly Awards 2025" is "Safeguarding Data Security: Marching towards a New Digital Era", which aims to recognise the commitment and efforts of enterprises, public and private organisations as well as government departments in the protection of personal data privacy, while encouraging them to implement good data governance and enhancing their awareness of protecting personal data privacy and data security. This year, a total of 157 organisations, including public and private organisations as well as government departments received the Award. OFCA will continue to strive for the protection of personal data privacy by implementing good data governance.
