OFCA and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore held a bilateral meeting in Hong Kong on 28 July 2025. The two delegations, led respectively by Mr Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications, and Ms Aileen Chia, Deputy Chief Executive and Director-General (Telecoms and Post) of IMDA, shared the latest developments in the telecommunications markets, and had fruitful exchanges on topics in relation to telecommunications infrastructure, anti-scam policies and efforts, spectrum planning, licensing regime for non-terrestrial network services and cybersecurity. Under OFCA's arrangement, the IMDA delegation also visited the Digital Policy Office and a local telecommunications operator on 29 July 2025.
