The Asia Pacific Radio Spectrum Conference (APRSC) 2016, organised by the Institution of Engineering and Technology Hong Kong, was held on 9-10 March 2016 in Hong Kong. As a co-organiser of the event, the Communications Authority took part in the conference actively. Mr Chaucer Leung, in his capacity as Acting Director-General of Communications at the time, delivered the opening speech for the conference on 9 March, while Mr Sanda Cheuk, Assistant Director (Regulatory) of OFCA, shared Hong Kong’s experience in facilitating the deployment of wireless broadband networks and services for providing ubiquitous connectivity in his presentation “Facilitating the Wireless Broadband Connection of Hong Kong” on the same day.
The APRSC is a bi-annual conference which provides a platform for regulators, market players and other stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region to share experiences and exchange ideas on spectrum issues.
