Unsolicited Communications Enforcement Network Annual Conference

OFCA attended the Annual Conference of the Unsolicited Communications Enforcement Network (UCENet) (formerly known as London Action Plan) held in Paris, France, from 24 to 27 October 2016.  The purpose of UCENet is to promote international spam enforcement cooperation and address spam related problems.

At the Conference, OFCA met with spam enforcement agencies from other jurisdictions including data protection agencies, telecommunication agencies and consumer protection agencies to share information on spam law developments and have exchanges on enforcement techniques and strategies.
