Introduction

Hello everyone! I am CommBo, the mascot of the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA)!

Though I may look like a robot moulded in simple contours, my body is actually embedded with lots of communications "codes". First, take a look at the two antennas over my head. One of them is a B-shaped antenna, while the other one is T-shaped. Apart from symbolising the characteristics of communications in terms of transmission and reception of information, the antennas also reflect OFCA's role as a regulator of the two major sectors in the communications industry, namely Broadcasting and Telecommunications.

The design of my plump body is also closely related to communications. My chubby face resembles a TV frame which represents the broadcasting industry, while my hand holding a phone stands for the telecommunications industry. The colourful headband on my forehead also originates from the logo colours of the Communications Authority (CA) and OFCA.

Through all these lovely and sophisticated designs, I trust that when we meet in the future, you will instantly be able to recognise me as OFCA's mascot, and will learn more about the regulatory role and work of OFCA in the communications industry!

I am energetic, cheerful, friendly and optimistic. Also, I am smart in the use of communications services. You will find me in various publicity activities of OFCA and on its social media, where I will give you information about the CA and OFCA, as well as different messages in relation to smart use of communications services.
