The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) has commissioned NielsenIQ (Hong Kong) Limited (NIQ) to conduct an opinion survey on domestic pay television programme service (Survey) from November 2025 to February 2026. The purpose of the Survey is to gauge public views on the domestic pay television programme service of Now TV Limited (Now TV).

Sampled households are selected randomly from subscribers of Now TV. OFCA has issued notification letters via NIQ to the sampled households, inviting them to call NIQ's service hotline (3755 3490) for making appointments for face-to-face or telephone interviews. The selected household member can also complete an online questionnaire. A unique serial number is provided on the top left hand corner of each letter for the selected household to verify the authenticity of the Survey with the survey firm. If a household has not made an appointment for an interview or completed the online questionnaire, survey staff will visit the household and assist in completing the survey. Each household member is expected to complete the questionnaire in around 20 minutes, depending on the actual circumstance.

To facilitate the selected households to verify the identity of the enumerators or to update information, in addition to NIQ's service hotline stated above, OFCA has also set up a designated hotline (2961 6629)1 for enquiries by the selected households.

We appeal for the support of all the selected households to actively participate in the Survey. The views collected from the selected households will be very important to OFCA in understanding the domestic pay television programme service provided by Now TV.
