      "Special Offer for 'Frequently Called Numbers' customers"
    • ii)
      Service details
    • The Special Offer for 'Frequently Called Numbers' customers ("Promotion") is a promotional pricing scheme provided by Hong Kong Telephone Company Limited (HKTC) which offers an attractive international call rate ("Promotion Rate") to the registered customers of the Frequently Called Numbers ("Call Plan") in respect of 0060/0062 calls made to the specified destinations during the period as specified in the 'Tariff' below.
    • The Promotion Rate is available to all registered accounts of the Call Plan.
    • To enjoy the offers available under the Promotion, customers are required to register under the Call Plan. All the customers registered under the Call Plan before and during the Promotion period can enjoy the Promotion offers.

    • The General Conditions of Service for Hong Kong Telecom International Limited, HKTC and Hong Kong Telecom CAS Limited, Special Conditions of Frequently Called Numbers and Special Conditions of Special Offer for 'Frequently Called Numbers' customers apply.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

SPECIAL OFFER FOR 'FREQUENTLY CALLED NUMBERS' CUSTOMERS

The Special Offer for 'Frequently Called Numbers' customers ("Promotion") is available to each Customer of Hong Kong Telephone Company Limited ("HKTC") subject to these Special Conditions, the Special Conditions of Frequently Called Numbers and the General Conditions of Service of Hong Kong Telecom International Limited, HKTC and Hong Kong Telecom CAS Limited ('Conditions'):

    SCOPE OF THE PROMOTION
    • 1.1
      The Promotion applies to all calls made by Customers registered under HKTC's Frequently Called Numbers ('Call Plan') to Australia and the UK using 0060/0062
    • 1.2
      The Promotion will operate from 1st November 1998 to 31st January 1999 ("Promotion Period").
  • 2.
    ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
    To enjoy the Promotion Rate under the Promotion, Customers are required to register under the Call Plan. All the customers registered under the Call Plan before and during the Promotion Period can enjoy the Promotion offers.
  • 3.
    PROMOTION RATE
    • 3.1
      If the Customer registers under the Call Plan, then the Customer can enjoy a 24-hour Promotion Rate of $2.88 for 0060/0062 calls made to Australia and the UK. The customer's usage at the Promotion Rate will be invoiced to an account registered under the Call Plan during the Promotion Period.
    • 3.2
      There is no further Call Plan discount applied on top of the Promotion Rate for 0060/0062 calls name to Australia and the UK.

    FEE
    The Promotion is provided free of charge.
  • 5.
    GENERAL
    • 5.1
      HKTC's obligation to perform any of the Conditions either in whole or in part will be suspended in the event that it is not reasonably able to perform those obligations as a result of causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, war, the threat of imminent war, riots or other acts of civil disobedience, insurrection, acts of God, restraints imposed by Governments or any other supranational legal authority or any other industrial or trade disputes, fires, explosions, storms, flood, lightning, earthquake and other natural calamities or any obligation under any licence.
    • 5.2
      The Customer shall not assign or transfer any of its rights, benefits and obligations under the Promotion.
    • 5.3
      In the event that there is any conflict between the Conditions and these Special Conditions, these Special Conditions will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.
    • 5.4
      These Special Conditions are available in English and in Chinese. The English version is the governing version and shall prevail whenever there is any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version.
