OFCA's Participation in International Regulators' Forum 2021
OFCA participated in International Regulators' Forum 2021 organised by the International Institute of Communications and hosted by the Federal Network Agency, Germany from 4 to 5 October 2021 via an online platform. Mr Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications, was invited to speak and exchange views at the opening panel in respect of development and security of future mobile networks.
Representatives of communications regulators from different parts of the world had extensive and constructive discussions at the forum on a variety of regulatory issues, including mobile network security, best practice on fibre and connectivity, online platform, artificial intelligence, media framework and future of broadcasting.
