P & P Corporation Limited ("P&P") is a services-based operator ("SBO") offering prepaid external services in Hong Kong through its subsidiary company Intelligence Telecom Marketing Limited ("iTM") using the brand "IDD 1560".
The Office of the Communications Authority ("OFCA") has received a number of complaints from the public who were unable to make IDD calls through the IDD 1560 platform. According to OFCA's record, the relevant SBO licence held by P&P expired on 31 October 2019, but the company has not submitted application for licence renewal.
In light of the above, OFCA reminds members of the public not to subscribe to IDD 1560 services or purchase any IDD 1560 prepaid cards which may still be in circulation in the market. Existing customers of IDD 1560 are advised not to refill their accounts or recharge the prepaid cards concerned.
